Digestive enzymes help break down the food you eat into components that your body can use. As we age, our bodies produce enzymes more slowly, resulting in lower enzyme levels. Diet is another major cause of low levels²- fast food, processed foods and excesses of sugar or fat make the body work harder and use more enzymes in digestion. Cell damage caused by stress, illness, environmental pollution and free radicals results in the use of extra enzymes to repair the cells and keep the immune system healthy.

Low or imbalanced levels of digestive enzymes create toxicity in the body from the waste of incomplete digestion. This pollution, in turn, encourages disease. Assessing and fixing your digestive process is critical to your short- and long-term health. Enzymes have been shown to promote healing and support overall health.³ Supplemental enzymes can also improve energy levels.

Ray Kurzweil & Terry Grossman's Digestive Matrix contains a vegetarian blend of enzymes designed to support digestive tract function and nutrient absorption. All three classes of digestive enzymes are included: proteolytic enzymes (to digest protein), lipases (to digest fat), and amylases (to digest carbohydrates). This formulation helps maintain healthy intestinal flora.

Other Ingredients:

Maltodextrin, Vegetable capsule (hypromellose, water) and medium chain triglycerides.

Dosage:

Take 1-2 vegetarian capsules at the beginning of each meal or as directed by your healthcare provider.

GLUTEN-FREE FORMULA. Each batch is tested for gluten and certified gluten-free.

Each capsule of Digestive Matrix is formulated to help break down: 30 grams of carbohydrates, 15 grams of protein and 15 grams of fat.
